Zepto Life Technology is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer / Material Engineer / Biomedical Engineer / Fluidics Engineer Intern to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance to Zepto’s QMS, FDA Design Control and other IVD regulatory standards as required.
  • Maintain compliance to Zepto's health
  • and safety procedures and policies.
  • Design, prototype and test functional microfluidic features with support from cartridge team.
  • Develop, document and execute test plans and analyze resulting data.
  • Generate 2D and 3D models using Solidworks.
  • Use prototyping techniques including laser cutting and 3D printing to make proof of concept parts and assembly.

  • Convert internal and external user requirements into engineering design specifications.
  • Provide engineering support for Cardiac reader system.
  • Interface with cross-functional project team to ensure design requirements are met and products meets quality standards.
  • Carry out root-cause analysis for failures.
  • Coordinate activities with outside supplies to ensure the delivery of supplies or services needed to meet scheduled timelines.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Hands on experience and excellent working knowledge of mechanical structure and plastic prototyping.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop and execute testing.
  • Sufficient engineering and scientific knowledge to explain test results.
  • Ability to carry out engineering trouble-shooting based on scientific assumptions
  • Sufficient knowledge in engineering plastics, fluidic and microfluidics.
  • Ability to work independently with supervision.
  • excellent oral and written communication ability.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to "get it done"

Required Education

  • BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
