This position is responsible for performing facility maintenance by repairing, maintaining and improving buildings and structures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Employee must have regular attendance/punctuality, be able to cooperate with others, and be completely honest. Other assigned duties include:
Routine and emergent maintenance of all Hilltop facilities.
Maintenance support of all programs including electrical repair (moving sockets/switches and trouble shooting, HVAC troubleshooting to the component level, advanced plumbing repair and maintenance (to include soldering), painting, and advanced repair or replacement of drywall.
Removing and replacing floor coverings.
Read and interpret facility blue prints, produce shop drawings.
Repairing appliances (i.e., washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, and stoves).
Overseeing and enforces facility safety.
Assisting with apartment moves and heavy lifting.
Assisting and overseeing the work of Maintenance Engineer I.
Must have reliable transportation.
Available for on call rotation.
Other duties as assigned.
This position will be scheduled Monday - Friday 7:30pm - 4:00pm and be a part of the rotating On-Call schedule.
The starting wage for this position is $15.00 per hour.

Certification in field related to maintenance (ie; HVAC trouble shooting to the component level, Engineers license, etc); AA Degree or 2 year technical school and one year or more related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
