Our Omaha Strategic Communications team is seeking a creative self-starter who excels in a fast-paced, team environment. This Team serves the communications needs of infrastructure improvement projects for clients in Nebraska and Iowa and throughout the United States. Internal clients include engineers, planners and architects. External clients range from private entities to all levels of government. Duties include:
Developing social content including compelling visuals to accompany posts
Monitoring and managing social media accounts
Managing social listening reporting and analytics
Providing guidance and recommendations based on post analytics and reporting
Executing and contributing to social media strategy
Provide input on strategy and visual communications for specific and distinct target audiences.
Typical assignments may include: social media graphics, presentations, various printed materials and advertisements.
Demonstrated proficiency, beyond personal accounts, in executing unified strategies across multiple social media platforms. (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Sprout Social, Hootsuite)
A desire to learn and become proficient in managing social listening tools.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to the 24/7 nature of social media.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Demonstrated graphic design experience.
Proficient in Adobe products for graphic design.
Experience managing and growing followership related to social media accounts for business, commercial or non-profit entities.
Experience editing video and animated GIFs.
Experience working in both in-office and virtual environments with the ability to flex to varying communication styles.
Previous engineering or architecture experience is a plus.
