As “Control Account Manager” at L3 MAS you will:
Participate in the development, documentation and implementation of the Project Engineer Office concept. In addition, in collaboration with the Director, Engineering, you will:
Plan, align, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities and deliverables of an engineering project while respecting the vision, mission and values of the company in order to meet the objectives of cost, quality and schedules;
Monitor the progress of activities and deliverables, and be able to produce standard reports on their progress and/or adjustments required;
Identify, monitor and promote performance measures (indicators) within a project;
Ensure the adherence of engineering activities to the procedures in place while promoting efficiency and effectiveness;
Participate in the standardization of procedures within the Project Management Office team and the implementation of best practices;
Identify, communicate and develop business opportunities;
Implement and maintain a communication culture to facilitate the sharing of information (objectives, projects, procedures, improvement, etc.);
Maintain strong relationships with representatives of various L3 MAS departments as well as representatives of our customers.
Maintain up-to-date project documentation such as SVOs in SAP, to obtain an accurate forecast of the demand for resources/expertise needed to complete a project (forecast);
Communicate to Section Chiefs the required resources/expertise in advance for the proper execution of the project;
Minimize project risks by establishing and implementing mitigation plans;
Write minutes of meetings, and follow up on the shareholder register of each project;
Participate in the impact analysis (costs, schedule) of change requests.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a master's degree in a relevant field of specialization is an asset.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar position;
Possess Project Management Professional (PMP) designation (an asset);
Experience in management/coaching, particularly for a group of engineers;
General knowledge of Transport Canada's certification process and rules, the Department of National Defence and OEM aircraft manufacturers;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (French and English);
Ability to analyze data and performance/engineering indicators (KPIs);
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
Knowledge of MS Project;
Knowledge of SAP;
Knowledge of the AS9100 quality standard (an asset).

Must be eligible for registration to the Controlled Goods Program;
Must be eligible to obtaining and maintaining the government of Canada’s “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance;
