Job Description
Chastain & Associates LLC has an immediate opening for a Civil Engineer / Project Manager with seven or more years of experience as a Project Manager leading a team in all aspects of civil engineering in our fast-paced office in Lafayette, Indiana. This position will include planning, developing, designing various projects for municipalities, industrial facilities, and land development clients in Indiana.
Job Responsibilities
The Civil Engineer / Project Manager will perform various engineering tasks by applying standard engineering techniques and analyses within the civil engineering discipline. Responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to: management and supervision of the entire design process, preparation of plans, specifications and estimates; coordinating all disciplines in the project, all subconsultants, and most importantly, the client. This position will be responsible for keeping the project on schedule and within budget, performing or ensuring QAQC is completed on each project. Responsibilities will also include business development and building client relationships for various private sector clients.
Job Requirements
The Civil Engineer / Project Manager will have a minimum of seven years of project management experience with land development projects, have a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, an Indiana licensed Professional Engineer is highly desirable. Strong technical, oral and written communication skills, presentation skills, and the ability to work in a team environment are required.

Pay: $63,082.00 - $139,446.00 per year
