Description
BETA Technologies is looking for Flight Controls System Engineers. Working with multiple teams you will help develop integration activities that support our eVTOL aircraft.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate with suppliers during integration activities
Requirements Validation and Verification
Writing test procedure for various test rigs
Run test procedures on the Iron Bird
Supporting integration activities with avionics, propulsion, battery management and other systems which are closely related to the Flight Control System.
Support Certification activities
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Working in a fast paced product development environment
Experience certifying a Fly-By-Wire aircraft
Degree in an Engineering field
Experience integrating ARP4754 and the integration of Complex Systems
Autopilot Integration experience
3+ years experience
Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
5+ years experience
Experience with part 23 or part 27 certification is a plus
Experience with air data or inertial sensors is a plus
