We are searching for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer at our Kalamazoo, MI facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify and execute continuous improvement projects
Owns Item and BOM Creation and Maintenance for Eliason
Owns the Eliason CPQ Configurator for Infor ERP system
Manages the Configure Hold – Custom Order Item Process
CNC Programming and Trouble Shooting
Design and distribute shop floor Production Drawings
Develops and oversees Procedure Documentation and Control Plans
Oversees and supports exception reporting and shop floor reporting accuracy
Fulfills Customer Approval Drawing requests
Manages product costing requests
Supports the Customer Service and Manufacturing on Technical information
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 2-4 years of manufacturing.
Skilled in use of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Inventor and common office software.
CNC Programming experience and troubleshooting G&M code
Problem solving skills
Ability to work in a self-directed environment.
Working knowledge of bill of material structure and costing.
Basic understanding of ERP systems and general business terminology.
Understanding in Lean Enterprise, 5S, PDCA, root cause analysis.
Good interpersonal skills, including ability to work in a self-directed environment, and strong communication skills (written and oral).
