We are currently seeking our newest innovator to join our dynamic team as a Validation Engineer I!
This job requires technical experience related to validation of telematic products. This position needs to be comfortable working with cross-functional engineering teams, HQ teams and customers to successfully launch LGEVU projects. The role is focused around verifying and evaluating issues found in bench or vehicle, logging probable software defects in a defect tracking database, reviewing test data with all team members, creating test cases based on specification, and creating summary reports for the assigned testing that was performed. This role will also have the opportunity to interact and learn from our subject matter experts here at LGEVU. This role must play nice with others, have a humble service mindset, and be a results-driven self-motivator.
Responsibilities:
Perform validation for telematics products by utilizing test benches and vehicles
Responsible for executing basic Sanity, customer found issues, updated specification from customer and Full test cases for assigned sections
Analyze test results to determine if product meet specifications
Create/maintain test cases per product specifications
Utilize tracking system to report and track product defects
Support production part approval process testing as needed (PPAP)
Maintain relationships with overseas counterparts to effectively share information and resolve issues
Support to resolve technical issues
Support and communicate with R&D team, not only in North America but other regions such as Korea
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree
Ability to travel (domestic international)
Preferred:
Bilingual in Korean and English
