Analytical Technologies Group, aka ATG, is seeking professional field service talent at all levels to support expansion due to a fast growing industry and increase in customer base. ATG provides routine maintenance and repair, contract and specialty professional services for FPLC, HPLC, Bioprocess skids, plate reader, and plate washer instruments. We are interviewing for our AKTA service division. Our scope of service includes both field and depot services. Recently under new ownership, ATG is poised to continue its fast growing pace in supporting major pharmaceutical accounts and the acquisition and sale of refurbished lab instruments.

Job Description Summary: Provide on-site and in-house technical services on laboratory equipment including preventative maintenance and repairs.
Principal Duties and Required Skills:
Perform a variety of preventative maintenance, repairs and calibrations on laboratory equipment. Communicate with customers as needed to troubleshoot, diagnose and provide repair updates
Service Preparation - maintain all items needed for service call including required tools, parts and documentation
Follow company and customer on-site procedures including customer GxP protocols, safety requirements, company dress code requirements and SOP’s
Communicate and collaborate with customer, service team and system manuals to identify course of action.
Establish fluency in relevant service documentation, including but not limited to Preventative Maintenance Service Reports, IQ/OQ documentation, etc.
Install and train end users on new equipment when necessary
In a timely manner, produce assigned documentation for all equipment serviced or repaired according to customer and company requirements. Enter required information into Service Ledger with appropriate Time Entries. Maintain communication with office service team throughout assignment
Attend service training as required. Attend all department meetings as requested
Represent and promote ATG in a positive, professional manner. Identify and communicate new sales and service opportunities to management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be willing and able to travel significantly, including overnight travel
Possess a genuine interest in customer service and troubleshooting
Illustrate a desire for continuous improvement and education on the instruments ATG services
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and team-player mentality
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
BS in a major illustrating mathematical and/or engineering aptitude
