Position Overview:
Under the direction of senior staff, the successful candidate will develop, document, test, maintain and support software for aeronautical engineering software applications, focusing on data warehouse reporting and custom software applications.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
Interact with staff to identify business requirements
Deliver data warehouse solutions using Microsoft’s SQL Server with SQL Server Integration Services, Analysis Services, Reporting Services, and Power BI
Deliver database backed software applications and enhancements using the .NET technologies, HTML, XML, and CSS
Rewrite legacy database applications to .Net based platforms.
Create documentation for system requirements, design, testing, and user guides.
Ability to learn new technology and apply them to software solutions
Other duties as required

Position Requirements:
BSc Computer Science or equivalent certificate from a recognized institution, or a related field of equivalent practical professional experience.
MS Office and MS Windows environments
Familiarity with MS SQL Server including Integration Services and Analysis Services
Familiarity with reporting tooling including MS Power BI, SSRS, Excel
Familiarity with .Net, HTML, XML, CSS, Transact SQL, Javascript, DAX
Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager Forms and Workflow
Good oral and written communication skills

Participate in Continuous Improvement activities in your area.
Incumbents must be able to pass and maintain Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) and Transport Canada security clearances.
The successful applicants will be eligible to meet requirements for the U.S International Traffic In Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
Applicants must be able to pass and maintain a Level II (Secret) security clearance with the Department of National Defence.
