We are seeking an Associate Systems Engineer at our Stennis, MS location. After orientation and training, the successful candidate will perform entry-level engineering tasks on liquid rocket propulsion projects. The candidate will also support senior engineering staff and gain experience with Aerojet Rocketdyne products and processes.

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each):
Working under direct supervision:
30% - Support operation and maintenance requirements analyses with a strong emphasis on maintainability and human factors for mechanical and fluid systems. These tasks typically support concept development of rocket engine propulsion products during their design phase. Job duties range from Field Engineering to Logistics. This position will ensure that fielded products meet customer expectations.
30% - Provide support to Advanced Propulsion Concepts for Spacecraft Integration, including Concept of Operations, Functional Flow Analysis, Affordability Analysis and overall estimates to the customer for Operational timelines and cost of ownership.
20% - Support Field Engineering and Launch Support activities for vehicles using liquid propulsion booster and upper stage engines.
20% - Support Ground Support Equipment and Large Scale Facility Integration of NASA and Department of Defense Space Propulsion Products.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems Engineering or related discipline (or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the industry).
US Citizenship required. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
