The Construction Field Representative reports to the Construction Superintendent of the Midstream Mid-Con Region (Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Northern Texas and Illinois) and will be based within the Region with a home base location to include Bartlesville, Oklahoma City or Glenpool, OK. The Construction Field Representative provides leadership and field support across the division and is accountable for successful execution of assigned projects while facilitating the safety, quality, integrity, and cost/schedule performance of each project.
Responsibilities May Include
Supporting the execution and management of multiple construction projects.
Leading efforts of safe and appropriate work practices per policies and MPR’s of contractors.
Coordinating, overseeing and scheduling of operations for construction contractors and employee teams assigned to specific projects.
Participating/leading in project kickoff and closeouts.
Communicating and documenting compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
Performing and taking sample tests for environmental concerns.
Submitting completed documentation for permits, air packages pre-job tasks, and project closures.
Providing field cost and scope and project control information to the Project Manager and other parties while ensuring efficient and cost-effective project execution.
Delivering contractor safety and performance.
Partnering and communicating with the Construction Superintendent, Project Manager and other parties in order to select contractors, determine crew size, promote good relationships, and deliver messages to all necessary parties on the jobsite.
Monitoring, evaluating and managing project schedule and directing resource adjustments to ensure efficiency.
Controlling and managing change order process.
Driving continuous improvement and safety through previous reviews and Incident/Accident investigations.
Testing and certifying welders (CWI's).
Assisting in audit/training of other Construction Field Representatives & project engineers.
Evaluating field variances and repairs.
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Valid driver's license
5 or more years of experience in Midstream construction, maintenance and/or inspection
Basic level or proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Willing and able to travel up to 75% of the time within the Mid-Con region or any other special assignment within Midstream
Willing and able, with or without a reasonable accommodation, to perform/comply with following:
Climb to the top of tanks and other facility assets
Raise and transport articles weighing up to 50 pounds
Walk, stand, stoop, sit, climb, and carry material on a daily basis on even and uneven terrain
Work outside in harsh weather conditions
Use hand and power tools
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Safety
10 or more years of experience working in Pipeline, Terminal and/or Tank construction, maintenance or inspection
5 or more years of experience with coating and application
Knowledge of Midstream Procedure Manuals
Knowledge of Midstream operations and understanding of Phillip 66 assets
Knowledge of welding procedures
Knowledge of non-destructive testing procedures
Industry related certification in any of the following: CWI, API 650, 653, TES, NACE
Intermediate level or proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Basic level of proficiency with SAP
