Design / Project Engineers are technical support for our manufacturing plants. They are comfortable designing moderately complex equipment and assemblies in Inventor, and the also spec, purchase, install, train on new equipment as well as improve existing processes and products.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Design equipment in AutoCAD Inventor
Project Budgeting & Equipment Purchases
Planning New Facility preparations
Document New Equipment Specifications
Train operators on Equipment
Planning New Production Line Specifications
Assist Start up efforts
Provide Process Training
This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:
Auto CAD and Inventor
Organizational and planning skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Project (preferred but not necessary)
Bachelors in Plastics Manufacturing
BS Mechanical Engineering Tech,
BS Manufacturing Engineering Technology
Minimum 2 years Experience in Plastic Extrusion manufacturing or similar
Minimum 2 years Experience Project Management
Travel Up To 35%
Ability to work on equipment in Manufacturing Environment
