Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to the APU, Propulsion, and Helicopter Components remanufacturing workshop by driving technical solutions, customer service, quality, delivery and cost issues. You will support technical projects finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve Product repairs, techniques, procedures, and technologies. You will support the design and development of new ideas and solutions for product repairs as well as supporting current products modification and improvements based on in service needs and market strategy. You will part of a team that supports the global productivity goals for engineering savings, including Repair Process implementation, utilize lean/six sigma manufacturing principles and examine all aspects of the Components workshop for standardization and mistake proofing opportunities. Foster collaboration between Engineering and Integrated Supply Chain team members.

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Industrial design talent
Ability to work independently
Willingness to learn new technologies
An open, honest and team-oriented personality
Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work
Some experience developing new products or sustaining existing product ranges
Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma experience
Some experience in a highly regulated or safety critical domain
Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering Degree is a plus
