Job Description Summary
As a Manufacturing Engineer you will lead the design and development of manufacturing processes, tooling and equipment that meet all customer and company requirements.
Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Define and control production process, including tooling and equipment’
Act as liaison between Engineering and Manufacturing
Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment (includes Manufacturing Engineers)
Manage Tool and Process Development, working with Process Engineers and Manufacturing and Quality Departments, NPI Process Development and Documentation
Execute routine analyses using vested methods and technologies
Contribute to technological developments in teams under supervision
Work together with people from the business unit (contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information)
Develop, verify and validate production capable CNC programs using CAM software (such as NX, Solidworks, Creo and MasterCam) for 3, 4 and 5 axis machining centers
Work within a team setting and/or under guidance
Identify, train and develop production associates
Execute routine but complex analysis
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
