ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Oversees the preparation and installation of solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
Provide support for the business day-to-day production by responding promptly and professionally to all production incidents.
Fix applications through SIT, UAT, and post project implementation.
Mentor and coach others on troubleshooting techniques and technical inquiries.
Build technical designs that meet Technical Architect direction of development standards.
Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
Guide development teams through development life cycles to ensure project success within expected scope, budget, and timeline.
Document and protect solutions by developing confidential flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
Seven (7) or more years of experience in Software Development, Information Technology, or in a related area.
Understanding for object-oriented programming and software development.
Experience in information system implementation or change efforts.
Experience working with software design principals.
Ability to develop based on provided functional specifications.
Computer analytic and problem solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to communicate with internal/external entities.
Experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
One (1) or more years of prior lead experience.
Familiarity with a formal project methodology or Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (Waterfall, Agile, etc.).
Experience working with appropriate programming languages, operating systems, and software.
ServiceNow Administrator Certification
2+ years’ experience as a ServiceNow Administrator, Developer, or Implementation Specialist
2 years’ experience with web technologies including API's / CSS / XML / HTML / Web services
Tasks and Responsibilities
Provides daily support of the ServiceNow platform; including scripting, configuration, integrations and administration.
Determines scope, estimates work effort and determines duration of development activities.
Designs solutions to meet business requirements.
Creates and maintains API and data integration processes between ServiceNow and other services.
ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping configuration, customization and implementation.
Monitors health and usage of the application.
Participates in design and code reviews.
Responds to Service Requests and provide incident resolution.
Creates process documentation for team and provides internal training to team members.
Generates reports and KPI analysis as needed.
Understands Oshkosh’s IT processes, and works closely with the business owners.
Will require 24X7 support, including holidays and weekends on call support as part of a scheduled rotation with other team members
