The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Customer Training Specialist to join our team based in St Louis, MO initially for training and then will relocate to Brisbane, Australia for a minimum of 3 years.
You will be responsible for program technical training, customer operational support, and general liaison functions. Have previous experience working closely with US military customers in an operational environment. Also, you must have extensive experience in advanced avionics systems used on Boeing Defense Systems products.
This position is unique due to the fact that the Senior Customer Training Specialist will be working closely with the end users of Boeing products, and the direct support they provide is key to maintaining Boeing’s reputation in the eyes of our customers. The experience you gain as a fielded Customer Training Specialist is unlike any other within the Boeing organization.
Training aircrew and maintenance personnel
Delivering Boeing training products and provide input to improve training products
Function as a liaison between Boeing and the U.S. Program Office
Provide troubleshooting assistance to complex avionics on modern fighter aircraft
Train and troubleshoot mission planning systems

This position requires an active SECRET U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Ability to travel domestically 25% of the time
Minimum of 5 years of work experience working closely with US Military customers in an operational and training environment
Minimum 1 year of experience with testing, modelling, teaching and troubleshooting avionics systems
Minimum 1 year of experience with aircrew training devices
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).
Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country.
Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable.
Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country.
Because the candidate selected will be expected to go on an international assignment, the offer will be contingent upon the candidate’s ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned. These contingencies also apply to any/all family members who may be relocating with the candidate
