This Developer will work with State of Wyoming Agencies to research and analyze agency development needs. The Developer will be responsible for leveraging Microsoft Power Platform to provide solutions to Enterprise Technology Services and other State of Wyoming agencies. These solutions will have a significant impact on the associated processes and, in most cases, will be highly visible to state agency end-users and Executives.

Design, build and deploy business intelligence solutions for customer needs utilizing the Microsoft Power Platform.
Assists in the development of proofs-of-concept and demonstrations to stakeholders for next-generation application development.
Assists in application development using Agile best practices.
Utilizing knowledge of the business and the specific application(s) identifies system opportunities to support business needs.
Assists in the development of training materials and business implementation/transition activities. Evaluates requests for projects and enhancements. May make recommendations for operational process improvements and/or system enhancements.
Elicits documents and validates requirements for change requests and enhancements to capabilities, products, or systems.
Working with customers to capture and define requirements.
Leading implementation activities.
Working Knowledge in Microsoft Suite of products including Word, Excel, Access, Teams.
Agile working practice SCRUM and communication.
Work Experience: Foundational understanding of relational data models or application toolset foundations is preferred.
Familiarity with pre-built templates, drag-and-drop visual interfaces.
Preference will be given to applicants with skills in Power BI.
Preference will be given to applicants with skills in data analytics.
Preference will be given to applicants with skills in reporting requirements.
Preference will be given to applicants with skills in State Government.
Preference will be given to applicants with skills in Agile/Scrum.
Preference will be given to applicants with Microsoft Power Platform Certifications.

Bachelor's Degree (typically in Computer Technology)
1-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Computer Technology) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Computer Technology Business Applications Analyst
Education & Experience Substitution:
4-6 years of progressive work experience (typically in Computer Technology) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Computer Technology Business Applications Analyst

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position is eligible for telework but must work in the Cheyenne, Wyoming office as needed.
