Otter Products is currently recruiting for a 3D Artist to join our team in Fort Collins, CO! As the 3D Artist, you will design and render content for web, print, and packaging! This position works across all brands and products. Intrigued?
You will consult with engineers, industrial designers, and packaging designers to complete projects. Generating textures for leather and plastic patterns is a part of this role as are lighting angles. Do you enjoy creating angles that feature products in new ways? Create, retouch, and perfect eye-catching photorealistic product renders that are true to the products they represent
Effectively use Adobe Creative Suite®, KeyShot, and related 3D applications on a daily basis to create and enhance imagery
Develop animations to clearly communicate key product features and benefits
Work with the marketing, sales, engineering, and program management teams to gather data and develop creative solutions, while adhering to established brand and design guidelines
Work as part of a team to both develop and review renders and assets to support product launches and campaigns
Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment
Successfully manage time, workflows and schedules in order to meet strict and aggressive deadlines
Participates in special projects as assigned, as well as other duties as required
Minimum three years of experience in product rendering required
Associate degree in relevant field required. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or relevant area of study preferred. Four additional years of work experience in lieu of degree may be accepted
Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite® and KeyShot, with at least an intermediate understanding of SolidWorks, Maya or other/additional 3D modeling programs preferred
Strong understanding of 3D lighting and texturing preferred
