Position Overview:
The Vendavo Website Manager Developer will oversee the daily management of our website while developing and optimizing our online brand experience and presence. As a vital part of the marketing team you will drive new website development using WordPress, Drupal, HTML, and CSS, while designing, testing and implementing landing pages, and operationalizing web-based tools like ROI calculators and mobile apps, along with being responsible for metadata and CMS integration. You will seek to design and develop a website user interface design that improves our customer web interaction and overall brand experience.

The ideal candidate must be to work cross functionally with other departments and teams in identifying improvements for current and future projects along with supporting other web-based development initiatives. To ensure success, the ideal candidate must be proficient Content Management Systems (CMS) and technology infrastructures using CSS, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy and Security Audits. Top candidates will also be comfortable troubleshooting the website and constantly seeking to improve the User Experience (UX) of the website.

Website Manager Developer Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, manage, monitor and upgrade the organization's website.
Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues.
Identify and respond to all website security breaches.
Ensure that the website is protected by enabling the appropriate security measures.
Update HTML, CSS and JavaScript regularly.
Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.
Create appropriate website content aligned to the organization’s strategy.
Ensure website quality and efficiency by conducting regular test plans.
Improve the User Experience of the website regularly.
Collaborate with all staff and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organization’s standards.
Provide front-end web development to operationalize web-based initiates from tools, landing pages, and mobile apps.
Provide HTML email development support.
Create strategies to grow subscriber base and web traffic metrics.
Ensure full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations.
Keep up-to-date with industry best practice and monitor competitor websites.

Qualifications :
A degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related qualification.
2+ years of professional front-end development and, or website management.
Demonstrated proficiency with HTML5, CSS/Sass, and JavaScript, Bootstrap, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Access, mySQL and JavaScript.
Some HTML Email development experience.
Expert knowledge of Macromedia suite, Adobe XD, and Photoshop, Content Management. Systems and W3C Web standards.
Some experience with Git, NPM, and Gulp helpful but not required.
Expert knowledge in WordPress development and in creating custom themes and plugins for WordPress.
Understanding of best practices for UX, responsive web design, SEO, PPC, performance, and accessibility.
Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environment with tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
Excellent content creation and writing skills.
