About the Position

We are seeking a Water Resources | Geotechnical Engineer to work on projects in our Providence, RI office. This professional will be working in a variety of water resources and geotechnical engineering projects, including: dam inspection, repair, and removal; geotechnical engineering support for transportation, vertical construction, and water resources projects. This position will also involve field work, studies and planning, and the production of reports, drawings, and other project deliverables for a range of water resources and environmental projects throughout southern New England for clients such as state DOT's and municipalities, as well as private sector.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in environmental or civil engineering with a focus in water and natural resources or geotechnical engineering.
0-3 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: geotechnical field investigation; foundation and wall design; slope stabilization; seepage evaluation; shoring analysis; dam inspection, repair and removal; and geotechnical support for projects related to transportation, climate change adaptation and resiliency, and flood mitigation
Excellent interpersonal and writing skills.
Relationships with/experience working with municipalities and state agencies desirable.
Experience using AutoCAD, Geographic Information System (GIS) software and/or Geostudio geotechnical modeling software and familiarity with environmental regulations desirable.
This position will reside in our Providence, RI office. Travel between our southern New England offices may be required.
