Otter Products is currently recruiting for an End Device Engineer to support our hardware strategy and maintenance. This position has the ability to be partially remote with the expectation to come into one of our physical locations (Fort Collins, CO; Frederick, CO; or San Diego, CA depending on where you are located) 2-4 times per month.
In this role, you will support our end device strategy for our increasingly distributed workforce. You will have an input into the hardware types and maintenance plan for our fleet of devices. Working with business partners, support desk and others on the infrastructure team, you get a chance to impact the daily lives of our Otters!

Assess end user facing systems to steer end user computing strategy, provide recommendations to leadership, and research on how to integrate new technologies that improve quality of service for a largely remote workforce while reducing total cost of ownership.
Establish relationships with leading OEMs/VARs, guiding the validation and procurement of new hardware, maximizing cloud or subscription-based solutions.
Stay up to date on industry trends within end user computing as well as associated technology roadmaps and lifecycles.
Collaborate with key stakeholders within IT Operations and the business to gather requirements for effective deployment requirements and strategy.
Administrate various Endpoint Management Systems used for diverse OS delivery landscape (Windows, MacOS, MDM, VDI, DaaS).
Provide a standardized end user computing experience at all sites globally by ensuring desktop imaging functionality.
Maintain secure OS images for enterprise workstations.
Develop, test and deploy application packages for end-user devices.
Maintain regular workstation patching schedule.
Maintain and document disaster recovery capabilities and procedures for the end user environment.
Ensure good team communication within and across departments.
Participate in the maintenance of the department’s high standards of customer service.
Occasional after-hours support required for production changes and critical incidents

Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
Minimum of five-years IT experience required.
Experience working as a system administrator and a service desk technician preferred.
Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure) preferred.
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or Microsoft Certified Expert (MCE) preferred.
