Position: Project Engineer

Reports To: Team Leader

Summary

Responsible for site planning, design and engineering of land development projects, including grading, water distribution, roadways, stormwater calculations and utilities for residential, commercial, retail, institutional and/or recreational facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design multi-acre retail, commercial, and/or residential development including due diligence, permitting and limited contract
  • Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan
  • Research, understand and apply City, State and Federal codes
  • Estimate project costs, including materials, equipment and
  • Communicate tasks and schedule and coordinate project assignments with project
  • Execute assigned tasks accurately, on schedule, and within
  • Visit sites as
  • Perform other duties as

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or completion of degree within six months
  • PE license (Florida required)
  • Experience with land development projects
  • Experience with design software (AutoCAD and Hydrologic/Hydraulic design software)
  • Demonstrated background in plan production and project execution
