You are an experienced Java Engineer that is familiar with the standard Java technologies and has experience working at scale. We are a deliberate team that drives development based on careful planning and a data-driven approach to new feature request.
As part of our team, you will play a key role in designing/documenting and leading the development of features that are robustly monitored and alarmed in production for the next generation of services that will be used by millions of job seekers every day.
We are building a distributed data storage solution for job seeker data. This system will be high throughput, low latency, and must be incredibly reliable as it is a key piece of the Indeed ecosystem. It will provide internal client teams self-service abilities such as read, process, and update for individual job seekers data or groups of job seeker data.
The “Jobseeker Profile Platform” team is the source of truth for all data on every job seeker on Indeed. Our mission is to help job seekers to effectively represent themselves to employers. Our vision is to provide centralized storage and distributed processing capacity with a pluggable framework for all Indeed client teams that use job seeker data.
Who You Are
4+ years of experience working with Java.
2+ years of experience with either NoSQL or SQL technologies.

Ability to work efficiently on a remote/distributed team.

Experience with large scale distributed systems.
