Coperion K-Tron is looking for an Assembler II and the position will be located in Salina, KS.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Assemble, test, and inspect purchased and manufactured items per print/instruction. Duties to be performed in a timely manner with safety, accuracy, and quality as the main considerations.
Expected to work in manner that results in producing a high quality product. Identification and reporting of deficiencies or errors to be reported during process
Assemble components having close tolerances and critical requirements for operational needs per engineering specifications
Assemble electrical/electronic components consisting of installation and wiring utilizing drawings, diagrams or specific instruction as required
Assembly may include larger products requiring the use of overhead hoists, fork lifts/trucks, and other handling equipment while working with others in a safe manner
Working with various materials to include metals, plastics, paints, resins, and epoxies, etc.
Hand and power tools will be utilized during assembly process in addition to test/verification fixtures and processes
Assisting in other work areas which may include Machine, Fabrication, Weld, and Maintenance as needed and based on qualifications
3-5 years manufacturing experience preferred
Must be able to read and write in English
Blueprint reading skills
Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of machining, welding, and fabrication processes
General electrical knowledge to include wiring, testing, and trouble shooting.
Ability to use various hand and power tools
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to travel, plane, train or vehicle, for inspection or resolution of onsite concerns
High school diploma or equivalent
