Reporting to the Information Services Support Manager, this position is responsible for deploying, supporting, monitoring, and maintaining the desktop solutions for the bank’s end-user computing environment. This includes the support for the end-users in all bank locations and mobile/remote users, regarding device, application, and connectivity for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other end-user devices and interfaces. In addition, this technical position plays a role in emerging technology projects and their successful execution.

  • Leads and supports all desktop technical deployment activities to ensure proper technology assets and applications are deployed
  • Develops and packages Windows & Mac operating systems and applications
  • Applies operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes to deployment tools for the end-user environment
  • Evaluates and recommends upgrades to existing computing environment technologies
  • Monitors incidents within the Service Desk support system and assists with escalations and complex incidents as needed to maintain SLA
  • Supports technical projects with testing, device planning and scalable technical configuration
  • Ensures that stakeholders and sponsors are appropriately informed on project status as required
  • Communicates to stakeholders and IT regarding system operations and planned environment changes
  • Plans, designs, socializes, and implements solution standards that can be deployed across the organization
  • Leads, participates, and influences others in the development and implementation of specific desktop solutions
  • Continuously develops technical subject matter expertise on established and emerging desktop and other device technologies
  • Mentors teammates on established and emerging computing environment technologies
  • Administer and supports conference room technologies
  • Administer and operationalize virtual desktop environments
  • Administer and troubleshoot MDM system and manage mobile devices
  • Configures test users and computers OU and GPO objects
  • Active directory user configuration and troubleshooting
  • Compose training documentation and informational guides for critical applications such as Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Ability to read, write and maintain advanced scripts using modern languages like PowerShell, .NET and VBS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or associates degree in a relevant field of study
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar technical position for an organization with multiple locations, preferably in a regulated environment (e.g. financial services, healthcare)
  • Requires 2+ years’ experience using enterprise asset management systems
  • Familiarity with mobile and collaborative technologies such as teleconferencing and tablet integration
  • Familiarity with application deployment tools and imaging
  • Familiarity with VDI, VPN and other remote tools
  • Familiarity using 3rd party remote access tools to troubleshoot remote user’s incidents
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • This job requires skills needed in a typical office environment. This includes computer skills as well as utilization of office equipment
Additional Information

Full-time: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm and afterhours support as necessary for maintenance
