The successful applicant will be responsible for establishing product validation test procedures, meet quality and timing expectations. Provide plans and specifications for future equipment.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Ensure optimum / most relevant test methods for all tests
- Develop new / improve existing test methods and specifications
- Perform tests as needed
- Complete Test reports on time
- Interact with customers regarding their testing programs
- Assist with training of Laboratory Technicians
- Is responsible for ensuring equipment, instruments and related apparatus are maintained in proper working order
- Responsible for developing and maintaining equipment, procedures, and training methods
- Develop expert knowledge of test instrumentation and data acquisition systems
- Initiates purchases of equipment and supplies; maintains contact with vendors and searches commercial market to determine availability and cost of equipment/instruments to meet needs of the department
- Prepares budget requests and manages approved budget
- Maintains strong technical skills for area of oversight

Experience:
- vibration testing: 1 year (Preferred)
- product testing: 2 years (Required)
