Qualifications
The Resident Engineer will report to the Engineer Lead of the associated area in assembly. You will provide technical expertise to hourly and manufacturing salary personnel at the Warren Truck Assembly Plant (Michigan facility) and collaborate with plant manufacturing, plant supplier quality, and engineering to champion Stellantis quality improvement efforts. The Resident Engineer will apply advanced problem solving and engineering and knowledge to identify risks and create risk mitigation plans to resolve production and quality system deficiencies. The selected candidate will oversee and review project deliverables throughout the project lifecycle ensuring the product meets or exceeds customers’ needs and expectations. The candidate must be high-energy, hands-on individual with strength of convictions, a self-confident leader who, in part due to his/her personal presence, style and demeanor, effectively provides ideas, solutions and leadership to others. Moreover, this person must have unquestioned integrity. The position is open to someone who understands the vehicles architecture (electronically).
