The day-to-day activities include establishing a DevOps strategy within IngenioRx that is aligned to the Anthem DevOps standards, policies and procedures. This leader will be responsible for training/advising/coaching teams that are adopting Agile and DevOps approaches to delivery.
This leader must possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to guide others in multiple DevOps practices such as:
Test Driven Infrastructure
SOLID Design Patterns
Database Automation (tested migrations through Liquibase, Flyway or similar)
Test Data Management (factories/builders)
Experience with Chef/Puppet/Ansible/Vagrant/Virtual Box in production settings
Extreme monitoring skills such as App Dynamics/New Relic
Distributed Security Practices
Static Analysis (Code Quality)
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Requires BA/BS in Computer Science or related field; 7+ years of IT management experience, ability to manage across geographically diverse associates and vendor partners; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Experience, expertise and/or specific certification may be required.
The successful candidate will understand the principles and values underlying lean and agile flow and is required.
Prior success applying SAFe/Scrum/Kanban experience is required.
Candidate will be able to articulate the challenges of DevOps and offer approaches for remedy to these challenges
The candidate will be skilled at communicating to people of all skills and roles in the organization including very technical engineers and cost-conscious executives.
