Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for an Associate Quality Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located in New Town ND.
Job Duties are listed below.
Supports all aspects of development in multiple programs(platforms) with validation of all working processes, procedures and SOW.
Collaborate and interact with engineering, product quality and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
Work in a team to develop and implement quality methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and validating the compliance of product, equipment and manufacturing operations.
Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. Including product, procedures and specifications. Audit and validate MIP specification within manufacturing and operation.
Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
Contribute and lead in cost effective improvement projects to meet GME goals; teamwork among other manufacturing functions and use of engineering and technical experience are required.
Specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, product evaluation, metrics, reliability and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.
General knowledge and understanding of related engineering disciplines. With understanding and wide application of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the field.
Creation of metrics and perform repetitive analysis on non-conforming data.
Be able interpret data and explain causes.
Selected candidate will work directly with MRB Site lead.
Bachelor of Science Degree in one of the following fields: Quality Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering/Technology, and Manufacturing Engineering and 6+ months of Quality experience
6 Months of experience with manufacturing or engineering environment.
The ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
2 Years Quality Engineering experience
Experience working with engineering on process improvements.
Experience with computer base coding.
