As a progressive financial institution, we are seeking a dynamic individual to fulfill the role of Developer / Programmer. This position may be remote or may be located at our Administrative Office in Boise or Mountain Home, ID.
This position will design, develop and validate changes to new and existing software programs. This includes data warehouse management, date mining using SQL and Crystal Reporting. Uses object-oriented design methodologies and product specifications to develop and enhance software products, components, and modules.
Responsibilities Include: *
- Design, develop, and manage reporting controls and procedures to support business needs. Manage and maintaining internally used data warehouses, including ARCU. Update systems according to business needs.
- Researches and analyzes software programs for existing processes and in-house solutions.
- Develop, test, implement and maintain in-house program codes for systems, including Episys. Investigates program errors, defines problems, debugs programs, tests results, and implements changes. Maintains existing programs and modifies or writes new programs as directed.
Experience: Minimum one year of similar or related experience.
Education*: (1) A two year college degree or (2) completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal Skills*: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
Other Skills*: Basic working knowledge of object-oriented design and programming languages. Must have good communications skills.
Physical Requirements*: Very light physical effort. Typical of most office jobs. Work in comfortable positions.
Work Environment*: Normal light, heat, air, and space in work environment. Travel is expected for training.
