Provide management, leadership, support and oversight to pipeline operations, projects, regulatory and maintenance activities for pipelines, gas conditioning, compression, dehydration, and maintenance construction activities. Perform pipeline MAOP/MOP reviews, studies and confirmations. Insure MAOP documentation and availability of records. Maintain and distribute pipeline MAOP listings. Review, evaluate and resolve identified MAOP violations/issues. Develop procedures to uprate pipeline facilities. Perform and document “Required Studies” driven by pipeline class location changes for gas pipelines as per PHMSA requirements. Calculate wheel load analysis for line crossings.
Review, confirm & validate pipeline MAOP’s
Project scope development and oversight for MAOP Testing
Perform required studies for pipeline class changes
Provide technical support for pipeline operations
Provide support for construction records archival
Participate in PHMSA/LDNR regulatory audits
Perform pipeline flow modeling and efficiency studies
Submit/review budgetary estimates for pipeline maintenance projects
B.S. Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
5 years industry experience
Knowledge of pipeline design (ASME 31, API RPs, DOT 192 & 195, etc.), and related industry equipment operations and maintenance codes and practices, as well as measurement and cathodic protection, compression design, gas conditioning and dehydration design, system planning / optimization and gas and liquid pipeline hydraulics
Pipeline modeling-simulation experience (Synergee, Winflow, Promax, Hysis etc.)
Working knowledge of Pipeline Integrity Regulations and TRRC Minimum Pipeline Safety Rules for pipeline construction, operations and maintenance
Strong PHMSA regulations knowledge required
