JRS Pharma offers an exciting Process Engineer opportunity in the U.S. manufacturing facility. If you have an eye for detail, professional style, and a passion for science, we want you on our team. The process engineer performs process engineering and project work to support manufacturing. The process engineer is also involved in day to day production issues, long-term process improvements, quality, maintenance, safety and environmental work to improve the process, reduce costs and down time, and increase overall plant capacity. This position will work with all department managers, production, maintenance and lab personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform process, engineering and project work
Work on process improvements and optimization
Perform detailed analysis of areas and processes to evaluate long term cost reduction
Work with production and maintenance to maximize plant capacity
Provide support for plant trials, tests and protocols
Support validation of process and project improvements
Develop Process and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID’s)
Develop projects, including cost estimation and project management
Oversee site environmental requirements and maintain permits
Facilitate safety-related items
Provide backup coverage for Production and Maintenance
Execute other responsibilities and projects as required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
Familiarity with process control
Excellent written and oral skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
