This position is designed to be a developmental position working directly with Engineering to help improve quality, efficiency, productivity and cost.
Ability to work with a cross-functional consisting of engineering, supply chain, operations and marketing.
Support and lead continuous improvement projects within a lean manufacturing system.
Responsible for developing and testing solutions to solve manufacturing problems and resolves issues.
Set up and document new processes for continuous improvement projects.
Develop new approaches and technologies to increase efficiency in the manufacturing process while maintaining our SQDIP goals.
Any other duties deemed necessary.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
College student actively pursuing a BS Degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial preferred)
Experience in metal fabrication, welding processes, assembly, and machining a plus.
Must have PC skills with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)and knowledge of Auto CAD, and/or CAD/CAM experience.
Ability to use visual management to communicate project status.
Experience with controls and 3D printing a plus.
