E-I - Performs physical design of high-voltage transmission lines under the guidance of senior engineer or designer. Assists in the creation of drawings, specifications, and contract documents to be used for construction, fabrication, or ROW clearing under the technical guidance of senior engineer or designer. Assists senior engineers in research, engineering studies, and the evaluation of materials.

E-II - Performs physical design of high-voltage transmission lines under the guidance of senior engineer. Creates drawings, specifications, and contract documents to be used for construction under the technical guidance of senior engineer. Evaluates, selects, and applies standard design techniques, procedures, and criteria required for design, making adaptations and modifications under the supervision of a senior engineer.

Education: BS in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

Experience: (E-I) Zero to one and a half year experience in the electric utility industry. (E-II) One and a half years design or maintenance experience in the electric utility industry.

Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: Completion of EIT preferred.

Specialized Skills (e.g., typing, computers, software, tools and equipment uses, etc.): Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD

Must be able to pass a NERC CIP personnel risk assessment screening.
