Mason & Hanger is currently seeking an exceptional Civil Engineer that shares our corporate vision, mission and values.

The ideal candidate will have technical skills in civil engineering principles, and will be responsible for assisting with full site development designs including grading, drainage, utilities, pavement, roadways, specifications and permits. Primary site development projects are for government projects, and could include roadway design, infrastructure design, building site development and airfield projects. Projects will range from conceptual level through construction documents and construction administration.

This role also includes potential to travel for site investigations and project review meetings. The ideal candidate will also have excellent interpersonal and communications skills and experience interfacing with clients, engineers, architects, and others of varying technical abilities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET Accredited)
Engineer in Training (EIT) License
1 to 8 years of experience with roadway or site development
U.S. Citizenship
Ability to obtain a government security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

PE license
MicroStation / AutoCAD / InRoads / OpenRoads / Civil3D / BIM / Revit experience
Proficiency with Civil Engineering Software such as WinTR55, HydroCAD, PCASE, etc.
LEED Credentials
Ability to travel
