Bell is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Leader, Production Engineering, Control and Logistics in the Ozark, Alabama facility. This position will lead and direct activities for all Production Engineering, Production Control & Logistics operations for Ozark Assembly Center (BHO).

Primary Responsibilities:
Manage a team of Production Engineers in the function of creating and maintaining process planning in support of shop floor, determining the tools required to accomplish such tasks, and managing the activities of manufacturing engineering
Work with the required support groups and manufacturing to develop schedules, order release, part delivery and appropriate mitigations as necessary
Orchestrate the integration of dispatching, Industrial Engineering, Resource Analysis, change control, warehousing / stores and procurement functions to improve the delivery of parts, material and tools
Continuously drive improvement of critical metrics such as safety, product quality, delivery performance, cost and growth
Develop and implement strategies that result in significant inventory turn/reduction improvements without compromising on-time delivery performance
Develop and maintain departmental training records
Be an effective leader that supports the effort to meet Safety, Cost, Quality, and Schedule commitments
Qualifications

Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Bachelors degree in a relevant field preferred

Experience:
At least 7 years direct technical experience in aircraft assembly manufacturing processes, supply planning, and/or logistics
Experience in manufacturing assembly processes including tool methodologies, technical writing and Root Cause Corrective action
Able to function effectively as a leader and support value streams with a customer service attitude to make the team successful and drive results.
Capable of reviewing and preparing Projects Plans and Estimates.
Proven success with leading and or implementing large complex projects related to this positions roles and responsibilities.
Able to effectively communicate with both subordinates and management
Proficient in PC usage (Word, Power Point, Excel)
