What you’ll be doing...

Research and understand the end-to-end network design and call flows to help maintain and improve network accessibility, retainability, mobility, and integrity.

Participate in the planning, testing, and integration phases of various projects to upgrade, redesign, and integrate new and existing services and virtual platforms.

Utilize various software tools to proactively identify, investigate, and resolve anomalies with various key performance indicators (KPIs), log messages, call flows, and packet captures.

Provide tier-II type support to our network assurance team and assist troubleshooting urgent customer impacting issues.

Explore and develop new methods of automation and data analysis to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

You’ll need to have:
Bachelor's degree, or 3 or more years of work experience.

3+ years of relevant work experience.

Experience in IP networking or programming, or equivalent detailed coursework in IP networking or programming topics.

A Valid Driver's Liscense and willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:
A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Electrical Engineering with a computer networking focus, other related degree, or extensive networking experience.

Demonstrated advanced knowledge of 3GPP network interfaces, network elements, and call flows.

Demonstrated advanced knowledge of TCP performance analysis and SIP/RTP performance analysis.

Demonstrated knowledge of advanced networking principles (BGP, MPLS, spine and leaf architectures, SDN, NFV)

Experience with statistical analysis methodologies.

Experience with tools such as SevOne, Irisview, nGenius, Wireshark, Tableau, Hive, Hadoop.

Experience with different programming languages (Python, Java, Perl, etc) and database design.

Familiarity with cloud-native software platforms and tools such as Prometheus, Github, Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana, Jaeger, Elastic.
