As a DevOps engineer the Intel DOIT team, you will help to build the software and physical infrastructure around the delivery for the next generation High Performance Computing (HPC) solution. As a member of the DevOps engineering team, you will administrate, develop, update and execute Software Configuration Management (SCM) and Continuous Integration (CI) tools, configurations, cluster automation, infrastructure and processes.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:
- This is an entry level position
Configure, install, execute and maintain DevOps tools and infrastructure
Software and hardware integration
Design and execute configuration and change management procedures
Automation servers and frameworks.
Source version control tools, SCM tools, Build Tools e.g. Jenkins, Git, etc.
Participate in regular client/team status meetings and provide input on development or administration activities.
Work with the development team to coordinate applicable system changes.
Consult with stakeholders to develop and implement effective solutions
Direct support of end users for development team and partnering group

Experience listed below would be obtained through relevant training and/or research experience.

Selected candidate must have following requirements:
Bachelors degree in CS or other engineering field with significant computer programming and system management experience.
1+ year experience in programming and Scripting
Previous experience working in a system administration or DevOps role
Experience in C/C++, Python/shell scripts, Ansible
Previous experience with source control tools with a preference for Git
