Thompson Electronics has been selling Edwards Fire Alarm systems for over 39 years. We need a high energy candidate to assist our customers and prospects in purchasing the right fire alarm system for their buildings. We have hundreds of existing customers and opportunities.
You would meet with customers, engineering design professionals, building managers, municipal authorities and contractors on a regular basis and assist them in designing, specifying and purchasing the best solution. You would be part of a top notch team of fire alarm professionals to design, program, install and inspect these systems.
Sales territory will be northern Illinois from Indiana to Iowa excluding Chicago area. You will be supported by a team of project managers, engineers, programmers and electronics technicians.
The successful candidate will have
- Five years of successful fire alarm sales experience
- Bachelor degree - technical or business
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems
- NICET certification
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
Preference will be given to those that have Edwards Fire Alarm systems knowledge and training, NICET II or higher, and Fire Alarm sales experience.
