L1 security clearance, and be eligible for L2 before 2021 to support the pre-prod and prod.
Participate in regular on call rotation, providing 24x7 support meeting business SLAs.
Provides senior level technical infrastructure support services
Required to work with application development teams providing support of middleware components.
Create runbooks and other documentation, and advise/guide other support team members
Responsible for WebSphere MQ messaging infrastructure in Linux
WebSphere MQ Administration (V9.x &above) on Linux
Responsible for the administration and management of MQ Clusters
Setup security for WebSphere MQ queues& other objects for data access and for administration using role-based security
Responsible for software installations and patches to WebSphere MQ servers
Able to work with MQ monitoring tools
Required to administer MQ using MQE and command line using MQSC commands
Experience with JMS configuration and troubleshooting in JBoss EAP
Work location will be Bedford, NS
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
4+ years development experience
At least 3+ year?s experience with IBM Integration Bus and IBM WebSphere MQ
4+ years development experience in programming languages (Java/J2EE, C++ etc), Web Services, SOA, ESB and EAI
4+ years? experience working with applications integrations standards and best practices
4+ years? experience of software development life cycle, deployment, and maintenance
4+ years? of Linux experience, preferably, Open source
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
5+ years development experience
