As a Staff Software Engineer on the Apply Management team, you will be responsible for building the job search management portal for job seekers. Millions of job seekers use our product to track and manage the jobs they have applied to. You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining reliable services and products that provide job seekers with helpful tools to manage their applications as they are waiting to hear back from the employer. Common user needs we focus on are: “What’s the latest status of my application?”, “What are my chances to get this job?”, “How can I prepare for my interview?” The team does this by maintaining highly scalable distributed systems that leverage data via datastores and integrations with third parties.
Who You Are
You will be responsible for entire features, from working with a Product Manager and a UX Designer on the problem being solved, possible solutions, the UI design, implementation and analytics. You should possess a mix of technical strength, business strength and good product ideas.

Deep understanding of the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code review, source control, build, test, deploy, and operations.
Experience with web technologies, full stack development, and scaling high-performance systems.
Experience building solutions for high traffic web sites is a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master’s is a plus).
Minimum 1 year of experience mentoring junior Engineers.
