We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to work with healthcare customers in Western North America. This role requires becoming a trusted technical advisor and leader to our customers who believe that deep learning, data science, and artificial intelligence is a new computing revolution and has the potential to transform the entire healthcare domain.
A Solutions Architect is the first line of technical expertise between NVIDIA and our partners and customers. Your duties will vary from inventing proof-of-concept demonstrations, to driving relationships with key executives and managers in order to evangelize accelerated computing. Dynamically engaging with developers, scientific researchers, data scientists, IT managers and senior leaders is an important part of the Solutions Architect role, and will give you experience with a range of partners and concerns.
What you will be doing:
Partner with our business / account team working with customers to develop a keen understanding of their goals, strategies, and technical needs as well as help to define and deliver high-value solutions meeting these needs.
Staying up on the state of the art in the medical imaging instruments, and production Deep Learning and Machine Learning Ecosystem. You'll be called on to help architect and scale embedded GPU computing, and high-performance, distributed, AI deployments that are built on the latest NVIDIA GPU supercomputers.
Educate customers on new NVIDIA technologies and platforms, and their potential applications in medical imaging, medical devices, and clinical applications.
Document what you know and teach others. This can vary from building targeted training for partners and other Solutions Architects, to writing whitepapers, blogs, and wiki articles, to simply working through hard problems with a customer on a whiteboard.
Be an industry leader with vision on integrating NVIDIA technology into AI, HPC, and embedded GPU architectures for advanced applications, such as medical imaging instruments, and AI-based analytics.
Strategically partner with lighthouse customers and industry-specific solution partners targeting our computing platform.
We make heavy use of conferencing tools, but some travel is required for this role. Be empowered to find the best way to get your job done and do what it takes to make our customers successful.
What we need to see:
MS or PhD in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or Bioinformatics required.
8+ years of work-related experience in software development, systems engineering with knowledge of parallel computing with GPUs.
Understanding of medical device design and implementation in a regulated industry.
Experience working with modern application deployment practices including but not limited to Docker/Containers and Kubernetes.
Experience with modern Deep Learning software architecture and frameworks.
Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with management and engineering.
Experience in the healthcare industry or with customers/partners in the healthcare domain.
Strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities and implementations of new technology and products into very complex projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience with medical imaging instrument design, medical device regulatory compliance, and safety critical design processes.
Experience using GPGPU programming and design practices.
CUDA programming and optimization experience.
Deep Neural Network research and development experience with medical imaging data.
Published record of thought leadership in a technical area or industry segment.
