Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead by example (i.e. safety PPE, processes are followed, etc.)
Systems Management- Develop, train, implement and maintain (based on ISO9001 and IATF).
KPI: Visual management, schedules and timeline.
5 Why training- Develop, train, implement and maintain.
KPI: initial assessment, visual management, schedules and timeline.
Internal Audit- Develop, train, implement and maintain.
Accompany auditor during customer and surveillance/certification audits.
Develop and review work instructions
KPI: 3 days for quality Work Instructions and 3 days for review of any other departmental Work Instructions
Assist with managing the 5 Why process in support of closing the 8d process (3 days per 5 Why)
Create and modify FMEA’s
Create and modify Control Plans
Inform management regarding quality issues immediately
Write Quality Check procedures for production (also in BABTEC)
Maintain and control the physical condition of the department (including 5S)
Support all shifts in the Quality Management System requirements
Implement and manage quality requirements in the production floor in a timely manner
Compile PPAP for customer, check and release supplier PPAP (including IMDS)
Visit customers and suppliers
Minor Duties and Responsibilities
Complaint Management with BABTEC, including systematic root cause analysis
Assist in managing and closing customers 8d reports in a timely manner
Assist in managing the internal and external Quality Alerts in a timely manner
Standardizing forms, policies, procedure, work instructions, etc.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
