Job Accountabilities

Crown Holdings, Inc. is excited about the growth within our Information Systems team.

Now is the time to join a leader in metal packaging technology. We are seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to support Crown's custom application systems, covering four major business divisions in the US, Canada and Mexico.

Our Information Systems Support team is centralized at our corporate headquarters located in Yardley, PA.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will review, analyze, and modify programming systems to support business requirements. Analysis of business application systems, technical design and applications programming skills are necessary to properly support Crown's business applications. You will be expected to perform a variety of complicated analysis and programming tasks.

Software tools required for change control and impact analysis: SoftLanding's Turnover and Pathfinder's Hawkeye.

Functional Responsibilities

Provide hands-on system technical support to Crown's Customer Order Management System (COMS) and Crown's Manufacturing Production control and Accounting Systems (CMPAS).
Provides accurate time estimates relating to project development and the preparation of specifications, user test plans and system/user documentation.
Designs, develops, codes, tests, debugs and documents applications to specifications and to fulfill production requirements.
Adheres to structured programming techniques and develops reusable program code.
Accomplish programming work on time and ensure project goals are met as per requirement.
Provide production support and troubleshoot system issues.
Participate in the 24/7 on call rotation
Assume the role of lead programming analyst on projects and implementation of enhancements to the business applications
May lead and direct the work of others on the programming staff

Job Requirements
Minimum 7 year's experience in systems support function in a manufacturing environment, plus leadership experience.
Experience with systems development, design, implementation and post-implementation processes.
Strong understanding of customer service applications.
Superior knowledge and experience with iSeries, RPG/400, ILE, SQL and CL programming.
PC software proficiency to support activities, especially Microsoft Office.
Knowledge and experience with Rational Developer for Power Systems.
Strong database experience covering design, creation and utilization.
Software tools required for change control and impact analysis: SoftLanding's Turnover and Pathfinders Hawkeye.
Excellent oral and written communication skills plus the ability to successfully interact with all levels of management.
