Performs concrete and structural steel designs and analyses per project specifications and applicable codes (AISC 360, ACI 318, ASCE-7, IBC, e.g.)
Performs analysis in accordance with industry standards for storage tanks (API, ASME, UL, etc.)
Prepares sketches and coordinates with Designers/Drafters in the development of 3D models and design drawings.
Assists in preparation of technical reports and specifications
Performs other related duties, as directed
Occasional overtime and travel may be required
BS or MS degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, focused on stress analysis and solid mechanics.
Entry-level Engineer, no experience required.
Basic knowledge of strength of materials, stress analysis, and structural engineering. Coursework in strength of materials, solid mechanics, structural design in concrete and steel.
Must have strong computer skills, including working knowledge with Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of MathCAD, STAAD, and AutoDesk Inventor is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
