We are looking for a skilled, resourceful, and collaborative Geotechnical Project Manager to join our team in Westford, MA. The Geotechnical Project Manager will work closely with a team of staff engineers and scientists on challenging and exciting projects largely in urban environments. This is a fast-paced and dynamic position, with opportunities to be challenged, contribute to project outcomes, interact routinely with project Principals and grow professionally.

Essential Functions – What You Will Do
Prepare proposals and project budgets.
Manage project budgets and prepare invoices.
Manage and supervise staff engineers.
Set technical strategy and oversee production of technical work products.
Coordinate with project team members and clients.
Plan and coordinate field investigation programs
Interpret and analyze field and laboratory data.
Coordinate and oversee construction administration for geotechnical projects.
Manage preparation of reports, design plans, data tables, specifications and other deliverables.
Formulate conclusions, recommendations and geotechnical strategies for development projects.

Competencies – What We Are Looking For
Minimum of seven years relevant experience and a BS in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Focus) or five years relevant experience and a MS in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Focus).
Possess or be working toward Professional Engineering Licensure.
Strong attention to detail and understanding of geotechnical engineering.
Experience with geotechnical field work and construction earthwork.
Strong organizational and time management skills combined with the flexibility to work with shifting priorities.
Client-service orientation with the ability to anticipate needs and deliver to meet expectations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work well as a team member, with a collaborative communication style.

Local travel within the greater Boston area is required.
