This role is for a Software Engineer in a group that won’t treat you like a newbie. We will help identify and leverage your strengths and guide you to develop and accelerate your skills on important projects that provide immediate value to our customers. As a member of the System of Systems team, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of different military systems and learn state of the art middleware technology developed at DARPA called STITCHES. STITCHES is a tool that enables military systems to share battlespace information like never before to meet current and future threats.
The day-to-day expectations of the person in this role is that s/he will face complex and challenging assignments that may require investigation and critical problem solving. - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Development or related degree from an accredited college.
- Software development experience in JAVA a/or C++
- Basic understanding of how to develop software on Linux
