University of California, Irvine and our team consists of some of the leading experts in our field. If you

The Opportunity:
  • Develop methods and tools for automated test data acquisition
  • Develop methods and tools for instrument quality assessment based on field data
  • Develop and implement manual and automated test modules for medical device imaging
system production
  • Develop image analysis and visualization software modules for data interpretation
  • Responsible for design transfer between R&D and Manufacturing.
  • Prototype instrumentation hardware for next generation products
The Qualifications:
  • Advanced (MS or PhD) degree or equivalent experience in engineering, computer science,
physics, or related field
  • Experience working in medical device development or similar regulated environment is highly
  • Experience in image analysis (eg. processing, segmentation, registration, visualization)
  • Experience in programming (eg. MATLAB, C++, Python)
  • Experience in scientific instrument control
  • Experience in biomedical optics instrumentation
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Motivated and able to handle multiple projects
