The Combat Developer s and user representative s mission is to determine and establish warfighting requirements and priorities and to maintain active involvement in weapon system and enabler development, test and evaluation, the basis of issue, acquisition/fielding, sustainment, and product improvement. Additionally, LB requires staff interface coordination and liaison with the Soldier Division, CDID staff and subordinate material branches Lethality, Electronics and Special Developments & Robotics and Autonomous Systems, Operational Energy, and Soldier Systems, Maneuver Battle Lab, Directorate, Operations and Training, Sniper School, 75th Ranger Regiment, other Forces Command (FORSCOM) elements, and other Army Material Command (AMC) elements.
4 years of Combat Developer project experience
Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Level 1 certified with three years of Combat Developer experience
6 years of active duty military experience
No less than squad leader experience in Military Police or Infantry occupational specialties,
Civilian (local or state) or federal law enforcement experience as a certified law enforcement officer
Two years of service with Special Weapons and Tactics or Special Response Teams or US Army Special Ops MOS
U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD SECRET clearance are required to be considered for the position. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
